Our staff’s scientific experience ranges from Basic Metrology, Metrology Engineering, Quality Systems, CBRN-D school trained personnel and Calibration/Metrologists with combined experience of over 220 years and Information Technology experience exceeding 25 years.

Staff Experience

NS Software Services personnel are highly trained IT specialists with Master degrees in Computer Science, Education, English, and Computer Software Engineering. We currently have three (4) offices operating in Stafford, VA, Greenville, IN., Savannah ,GA., and Pensacola, FL. Nelson H. Stiltner owner of NS Software Services has a Masters degree in Education from the University of Southern Mississippi with over 30 years’ experience designing, developing and integrating EPSS, Simulation training on Video disc, and CD’s.

Engineering Support

Specializing in custom software development for web-based applications and web frameworks, NS Software Services utilizes the agile software development model, adhering to all DoD software development constraints. Experienced in Client/Server and Web Portal asset management systems development, NS Software Services has provided integration services for Information Technology DoD facilities and our staff is DoD 8570 certified. NS Software Services adheres to the CMMI level two processes managed state with the help of an Application Lifecycle Management system that allows our customers real time feedback on the status of their deliverables and estimates of their completion. Also has experience in courseware development and computer based training, conforming to DOD mandated SCORM technologies hosted on MarineNet and Navy eLearning. Other areas of engineering support include understanding and assisting in the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
